Military Sexual Trauma Is A Very Personal Thing

This section is short. Not because MST is a small or insignificant problem. But because the answer is in line with what I do with PTSI. The process is pretty much the same. I help the client wash away the emotional component and let them get on with their life, no longer burdened by the experience. So, let us now have a look at MST.

Nothing about your experience in the military could be more personal than MST. The vast majority of people with this type of trauma are female. But make no mistake, due to the nature of the military power structure, there are men who have experienced this as well. Like PTSI, this is an issue completely unique to the individual. This effects each person differently and I understand that. Like any other therapy I do, I work "blind" in as much as, I do not need the details. You already know every painful detail and I am not going to ask you to relive it. That is (in my professional opinion) going to do more harm than good. When you relive a trauma you have experienced and suffer from, you only re-traumatize yourself. There is another, more powerful and effective way to deal with this.

As with any other therapy I do, this will also start with negativity clearing. This gets rid of all the nagging little BS problems and allows us to find the actual issues that need to be addressed. I do not want to chase symptoms forever. I want to go to the root cause(s) and cut them off. This will cause the entire problematical system to collapse and give you relief across the full spectrum.

As a hypnotist, I could just wash away the memories. But, as a professional hypnotherapist, I know that if I do that, you lose the positive aspects involved. "What positive aspects!?!" you ask? The lesson(s) learned. There are lessons to everything we experience. Losing those lessons sets us up to relive the experience, in order to regain the lesson(s) and that is a net negative. If you remove the lesson(s), in six months, a year or ten years, you will miss the warnings and walk right back into that type of thing, only to have to do it all over again. I would never forgive myself if I put someone through something like that when it is within my power to stop it now.

The effect these things have on the mind is very much like PTSI. Yes, they are very different in cause and effect on you, but in the mind, the same types of process's take place. Go read up on that in the PTSI section. What goes in is different. What comes out is different, but the process's in between are very similar. The mind works in a certain way and that is static across the board. And no, in a lot of ways that will not make sense to the vast majority of the people. However, that is where a skilled and experienced hypnotist comes in. It is my job to guide you to the issue, without traumatizing you again, and show you how to repair things in order to get you the relief you need, from the issue/experience and it's resulting problems.
